SAN JOSE (KRON) — Two men were shot and one is left in critical condition after shooting at each other in East San Jose on Thursday morning.
Around 10:45 a.m. officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1600 block of Tierra Buena Drive.
Two African American men were shot after shooting at each other outside of a residence on Tierra Buene Avenue at Alvin Avenue, according to Officer Albert Morales.
One man in critical condition was transported to a hospital by paramedics. The other man was transported to a hospital by family members, his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
The motive of the shooting is unknown at this time.
San Jose Police is on the scene investigating and have closed off the streets.
