SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two men were shot and killed in San Francisco less than an hour of each other on Friday night.

The first incident happened in the Tenderloin district on the 300 block of Leavenworth Street around 11 p.m.

The victim was identified as 23-year-old Christopher Porche, and was shot by a male suspect with a handgun, according to police.

Porche was pronounced dead after medical crews took him to the hospital.

The second incident happened at 11:44 p.m. in the city’s Mission District on 24th and Shotwell streets, police said.

The identity of the male victim has not been released. He was also killed by a suspect with a handgun and pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have not made any arrests in the cases and have not released any information about possible suspects.
