BERKELEY (KRON) — Two men were injured in an altercation Wednesday night near the University of California, Berkeley campus.
One of the victims was hospitalized with a stab wound to his torso, according to police, and the other man suffered a head injury after being hit with a chain.
Police say officers responded just after 8 p.m. to the 1700 block of Shattuck Avenue and found the two injured men.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital.
Police have yet to release details on the circumstances surrounding the altercation.
