MORGAN HILL (KRON) — Two children were hit by a car Monday night in downtown Morgan Hill.
It happened around 9 p.m. on the intersection of Monterey Road and Fourth Street.
One of the children was found trapped under the car and first responders had to get him out.
Both kids have been hospitalized at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
The children were walking inside the crosswalk when they were hit. One of them was on a bike and the other was on a scooter, according to police.
Neither one of the kids were wearing a helmet.
The driver of the car has cooperated with authorities and was not drunk at the time of the crash, police said.
