SANTA ROSA (KRON) — Two people were hospitalized after crashing into each other in Santa Rosa Wednesday morning.

The crash happened on Occidental Road in west Santa Rosa, just before 9.a.m.

According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, 27-year-old Hannah Raw Kahler was driving a Ford Mustang west on Occidental Road and Karlie Leigh Cagle, 43, was heading east in a Chevrolet Surburban when the two hit head-on.

Police say Khaler drifted over the double yellow line separating the lanes.

She had to be pulled from her car by first responders.

Both vehicles sustained major damage, and both women were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
