VACAVILLE (KRON)— Two men who worked at the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre have been arrested for having child pornography, Vacaville police said.
Authorities heard Donald Keith Wade Jr., 36, was sharing child pornography on his computer, Sgt. Matt Lyndon said.
Police then found out Wade worked at the theater as a technician.
Cellphone videos were found by authorities of underage girls from a dance club undressing in a room at the Vacaville theatre in 2013.
The dance club has not been able to identify the girls in the video because it was taken from an elevated place, police said.
The cellphone videos were put onto Wade’s computer, but only two of them had enough evidence to file a criminal complaint.
Police learned that Thomas McPike, 35, also had child pornography and obtained a warrant to search his house. McPike also works at the Vacaville theater.
Pike and Wade were arrested for felony suspicion of having child pornography not related to the videos from the Vacaville theater, Lyndon said.
Both men posted bail and Wade will have a arraignment on Aug.11.Bay City News also contributed to this report.
