SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two elderly men were robbed at gunpoint in a South San Francisco park Thursday morning, according to police.

The robbery occurred around 7:20 a.m. in Westborough Park in the 2500 block of Westborough Boulevard.

The pair were strolling on a trail next to the baseball field when a man dressed in black wearing a ski mask and holding a semi-automatic handgun approached them and demanded their cellphones and wallets.

Once the suspect had their property he fled, according to police.

He was described as a Filipino man in his early to mid 20s who is about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a slender build, police said.
