Health officials in Santa Clara County are warning parents after two children have drowned so far this summer.
This past Saturday, three children were brought to the hospital after being pulled from the water.
Tragically, one of the children died and another remains in the hospital in critical conditions, according to health officials.
Since May 10, eight children have drowned or nearly drowned in Santa Clara County.
The ages of the eight children range from 18 months to 11 years old, with five of them being under the age of four.
