PLEASANTON (KRON) — Two big rigs were involved in a crash on Interstate 580 in Pleasanton Wednesday morning.
The crash happened on westbound I-580 just east of the Hopyard Road onramp at around 4:30 a.m.
Two lanes of westbound I-580 and the Hopyard Road onramp were blocked. All lanes were reopened by 10 a.m.
One of the big rigs has a broken axle.
A separate minor accident occurred in the backup following the accident.
