(KRON)—Twitter is reportedly set to start laying off hundreds of employees as early as this week.
The struggling tech company could eliminate up to 300-jobs.
If Twitter goes forth with the cuts, it is likely for them to happen before Thursday which is when Twitter is scheduled to post its quarterly earnings.
This would be the second major layoff period for Twitter which also planned to lay off about 300-people around this time last year.
The company has struggled to grow its amount of users while it also faces competition from other social media giants such as Facebook and Instagram.
