A traffic stop on a freeway in Greenfield, Indiana led officers to the discovery of 78 pounds of marijuana. Tuesday morning.
Around 11:00 a.m. a State Trooper pulled over a 2017 Ford Expedition that was allegedly weaving outside traffic lanes on Interstate 70.
During the traffic stop, officers found over 78 pounds of week stuffed in the trunk.
The driver, 51-year-old Christian Elie, and the passenger, 42-year-old Austin Johnson, were both arrested.
The two men were taken to the Hancock County Jail on preliminary drug charges.
The street value of the marijuana is estimated to be around $250,000.
