SAN JOSE (KRON) — The California Highway Patrol has canceled a Sig-alert after an motorcycle accident and car fire forced the closure of the southbound highway 101 at Tully Road in East San Jose.

According to CHP, first reports of the accident came in at 6:15 a.m., with callers saying that there was a man laying on the freeway.

The Sig-alert was issued at 6:29 a.m., closing all of the southbound lanes.

By 7:13 a.m., all lanes were back open.

An update on the condition of the motorcyclist was not immediately available.
