MOUNTAIN VIEW (KRON) — Three Mountain View high school students were arrested in connection to threats posted on social media, Monday morning.
According to Mountain View police, officers learned of potential threats on students and staff at Mountain View high school when they were posted onto social media.
Upon arrival police arrested and interviewed all three students on counts of making threats, and the conspiracy to commit a crime.
The names of the suspects were not released at this time, due to all three being minors.
Police want to remind everyone that what people post on social media that comes across as a threat, will be taken seriously. They also feel that students and teachers should feel safe while at school.
The investigation is still ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the police department at 650-903-6344.
