PLEASANT HILL (BCN) — Three Antioch men were arrested Thursday in connection with a burglary at an AT&T store in Pleasant Hill.
Police have identified the suspects arrested as Adolfo Bobino, 23, Wesley Martin, 25, and Demarcus Whitner, 30. A fourth suspect in the case is still at large.
Officers responded around 3:30 p.m. Thursday to the AT&T store at 1300 Contra Costa Boulevard after three men entered the store and stole several items, police said.
After stealing the merchandise, the three suspects fled to a waiting vehicle driven by a fourth suspect.
A Pleasant Hill police officer spotted the vehicle as it was leaving the area, and a short pursuit ensued. Two of the suspects got out of the car, and one was apprehended shortly after, police said.
The other suspect was not located and is still at large.
The two remaining suspects in the vehicle continued to flee from officers and ended up crashing into the garage of a residence, police said. Both were then arrested.
Police said Whitner is also a suspect in a Monday cell phone theft that occurred in Pleasant Hill.
