SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Police have arrested three of four teenagers suspected of stabbing a man near Union Square Wednesday morning.
Police say shortly after 2 a.m. the four suspects got into a verbal altercation with two men outside a Walgreens store on the 100 block of Powell Street.
During the argument, one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the victims in his back several times.
Another suspect punched the other victim in the face, police said.
All four of the suspects fled, but officers responding to the scene were able to locate and arrest three of them.
Both victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, according to police.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
