KING CITY (BCN) — Deputies arrested three men Thursday in King City following a reported shooting and pursuit.

Deputies were dispatched at 12:18 a.m. to 1201 Amherst Drive on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies received information from the reporting party of people, three possible gang members, yelling as they rode inside a red 2002 Chevrolet Impala traveling around the complex.

While deputies were checking the area, they heard several shots, and a vehicle matching the reporting party’s description was seen driving away at a high rate of speed, deputies said. Deputies tried to pull the vehicle over, but the driver initially refused to stop.

When the vehicle eventually did stop, deputies said the suspects were found to be in possession of a 9 mm pistol and a loaded magazine.

The three suspects, identified as Robert Guajardo, Miguel Godoy and Alejandro Pacheco were taken into custody. Deputies said the three men are members of the Norteno criminal street gang.
