Sacramento weather officials were warning of imminent dam failure of the Moccasin Reservoir Dam in Tuolumne County.
But sheriff’s deputies downgraded the failure to potential on Thursday. And a few hours later, San Francisco water officials said the dam has been stabilized
“The water level has significantly decreased since the initial incident. The reservoir system functioned properly under the stress & at no time was there any threat to our water supply,” water officials said on Twitter.
