SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — After a 17 day fast and being hospitalized for two days, the Frisco 5 have suspended their hunger strike.
After being monitored by doctors, they made an announcement to end their hunger strike so they can join the rest of the community on the front lines.
The Frisco 5 do not see this as a failure, but as an opportunity to “help shape the movement.”
They are asking the community to join them in a general strike Monday, May 9th.
