(BCN) – More than an inch of rain fell between Thursday evening and this evening in locations in four San Francisco Bay Area counties, according to unofficial totals from the National Weather Service.

Between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. today, skies dropped 1.05 inches in Oakland, 1.42 inches at Turner Gulch in Santa Clara County, 1.33 inches in Lichau Creek in Sonoma County and 1.21 inches on Bald Peak in Tilden Park in Contra Costa County.

Downtown San Francisco received 0.49 inches of rain while the Napa County Airport recorded 0.61 inches.

By the time the rain ends Monday morning, some areas may receive another quarter of an inch, forecaster Diana Henderson said.
