SALINAS (KRON) — A man in a wheelchair was shot several times in Salinas on Wednesday night, police said.
The 27-year-old victim was in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1000 block of East Laurel Drive when the shooting occurred.
Two teenage males reportedly jumped over a fence, fired 13 shots at the man, and fled the scene.
The man was then taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made, and police have not released descriptions of the suspects.
