Here is the message sent out to parents:
Dear San Ramon Valley Staff and Parents,
It is with great sadness I share this update with you. Today, a freshman male student passed away after being found in the San Ramon Valley High School swimming pool. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness that many in our community are feeling as they receive this information. Our hearts go out to the grieving family, friends, students and staff. Danville Police are currently investigating the circumstances of this tragic accident. We will share more information with our school community as soon as possible.
We have a plan in place tomorrow to support students and staff through this difficult time. If your child needs help dealing with her or his grief, please ask them to reach out to the support available at school. There will be a team of support staff on-site including school psychologists, school counselors, and SRVUSD support team members available to address the counseling needs of our students.
Sincerely,
Jason Krolikowski
Principal
