(KRON)—Minecraft is one of the most popular video games out on the market now for kids, teens even adult gamers.

KRON4 tech reporter Gabe Slate shows us how the game is evolving into the next dimension: virtual reality.

Minecraft offers gamers a unique creative experience.

You can build whatever you can imagine.

It’s like a virtual Lego world.

You mine resources and then build things with them.

Gabe Slate tried it out and thought it was very cool.

In Virtual Reality, you could move quicker through the game and build quicker.

Right now to play this game, it’s expensive.

If you have a Samsung phone, you can get a gear Virtual Reality headset for $100 and buy the Minecraft game for $8.

The HTC Vive headset is $800 and you need a fully loaded PC to run it which costs around $800 so that’s $1,600.

The Oculus Rift headset is $600 and again you need a powerful pc so it’s around $1500 to play with this device.

So before you drop that kind of money, you should try it out first or if you just want something fun and free to do with your kid you can visit a Microsoft store and experience the game.

They have demos set up and ready to play.
