Teacher confiscates loaded gun from kindergartners

NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio  (KRON) – A loaded gun was retrieved from four or five kindergarten students who were playing with the weapon in suburban Cincinnati.

A student at North College Hill Elementary School in Hamilton County alerted a teacher that children were playing with a gun Wednesday afternoon.


The teacher confiscated the firearm, which the police now have. Superintendent Eugene Blalock says the weapon was a small, semiautomatic handgun.

Two bullets were found in the gun’s clip, but none were in the chamber. The gun could have looked like a toy to some of the kids.

Police say no threats were made and no injuries were reported.CNN Newssource contributed to this report.
