SUNNYVALE (KRON) – Three suspects were arrested after a high-speed chase through the South Bay Thursday morning, according to police.
Police began to pursue the vehicle early Thursday morning in Sunnyvale, police said.
The chase ended in San Jose where the suspect abandoned the car and evaded police, but police were eventually able to catch the three suspects.
They began the chase when they received reports of a carjacking.
Police believe the three suspects are connected to an armed home invasion robbery that happened just before the carjacking.
The suspects invaded a home in Sunnyvale and shot a victim in the ear as they stole his laptop.
Jesus Ayala-Melchor, Julio Garcia and Martina Mendoza were arrested.
