ANTIOCH (BCN) — Among the stolen items allegedly found in the possession of a suspected serial burglar who was arrested in Antioch last week was a Berkeley Fire Department uniform, according to a police report released Monday.

The uniform and other property was inside a reportedly stolen Honda Odyssey that an Antioch police officer spotted at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday in the first block of Rossi Avenue, according to police.

Police identified 24-year-old Marcus Griffin as the suspect who occupied the vehicle. Police said he tried to exit the vehicle, which was reported stolen out of Orinda, when an officer approached him.

There was a large amount of stolen property in the vehicle, according to police, from at least three different burglaries that occurred in Berkeley, Orinda and Moraga.

Among the stolen items, Griffin allegedly had a Berkeley firefighter’s uniform in his possession, according to police.

He was arrested without incident and booked into Martinez Detention Facility.
