DALY CITY (KRON) — The suspect involved in an officer-involved shooting in Daly City is in jail Monday awaiting formal charges.

Thirty-eight-year-old Shikeb Saddozai was shot in the arm during a confrontation with police last week on St. Francis Boulevard on Feb. 8. He was released from the hospital on Thursday.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute call involving a woman reportedly being chased by a man with a knife. Police spotted him in a backyard a couple of blocks away.

The suspect is being held on domestic violence, assault, and other charges.
