FREMONT (KRON) — A man was arrested on the suspicion of murder after a stabbing in Fremont Tuesday night.
Officers received a report of a stabbing at 10:56 p.m. on Richmond Avenue, according to police.
Police found a man suffering from stab wounds;. He was transported to a trauma center with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.
The victim was able to identify the suspect as a 26-year-old resident of Newark, who was found later while riding a bicycle in the vicinity of Central Avenue and Farwell Drive.
The suspect fled, but was apprehended and arrested in the vicinity of Central Avenue and Centralmont Place.
