SALINAS (BCN) — Officers arrested a suspect in connection with inappropriately touching a child at a Salinas daycare center in 2012, police said Friday.
Salinas resident Jairo Lopez, 21, was arrested in connection with numerous sexual assault offenses, according to police.
The licensed daycare facility, which was operated by the suspect’s mother, was located at 120 Valencia St., police said.
A victim came to police and reported being touched inappropriately while at the daycare facility in 2012, police said.
When officers interviewed Lopez, he admitted to the allegations.
Police said they believe there may be more victims from the facility.
