SAN JOSE (KRON) — A suspect was arrested Wednesday in connection to the death of a 66-year-old man in East San Jose, according to police.
Audry Wayne Law, of San Jose, is suspected of killing the 66-year-old man during a fight, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a dead person on the 1700 block of Ocala Avenue at 3:17 a.m. Wednesday morning.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.
The victim was pronounced dead a the scene a short time later.
Police told KRON4’s Will Tran that the murder weapon was a rock.
Law was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail, where he is being held without bail.
Police believe the suspect and victim knew each other.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
