SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The social media app Snapchat may have first gotten popular with young users, but a new survey says an increasing number of adults are now using it, according to CNN.
Thirty-eight percent of mobile users between the ages of 25 to 34 used Snapchat at least once in May. That is double the percentage from less than two years ago.
There are also 5 percent more users over the age of 35.
But experts said the increase in adult users has not made the app less popular with its core user base.
And if the company’s $18 billion valuation has any say in the matter, yes, it is still very cool.
