(BCN) – All gates to Super Bowl City in San Francisco will stay closed this evening and tonight because the venue is at capacity, the Super Bowl Host Committee said.
The gates to the venue centered at Justin Herman Plaza at Market Street and The Embarcadero were closed for the evening and tonight as of 5:51 p.m., the committee said on Twitter.
A spokesman for the committee P.J. Johnston said tens of thousands of people have been to Super Bowl City today and the big draw tonight is a free concert by Alicia Keys.
Super Bowl City will open again at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
