Super Bowl 50 Viewing Parties in the Bay Area

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Not everyone is lucky enough to get their hands on a Super Bowl 50 ticket and since Super Bowl City isn’t showing the game, fans are looking for other places to go to watch it.

There’s plenty of options right here in the Bay Area, and a lot of them are free. Here’s a list of viewing parties that will allow you to watch the game surrounded by fans:


Mission Rock Resort – 817 Terry A Francois Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94107

FREE when the game starts, $150 – Super Early Bird, $225 – Early bird

Watch the big game on the water at the Mission Rock Resort. Before the game, the resort is hosting a tailgate with former NFL athletes Eric Wright, Keena Turner, and Mike Wilson. The ticket includes an open bar, buffet and an opportunity to snap a photo and get the special guest’s autographs.

Fish & Farm – 424 Clay Street San Francisco, CA 94111

This event is the official Bud Light viewing party in downtown SF. The venue is also offering reasonably priced VIP tables starting at $50 for two people. For an open bar, tickets are only $60

The EndUp – 401 6th Street San Francisco, CA 94103

$30 – Almost Last Chance, $35 – Last Chance

The game will be shown on all five 55 inch HD TV’s. Early bird tickets are already sold out, but the last chance tickets are still resonably prices. The EndUP is also offering tables.

The game will be shown on a 30-foot LED Jumbo Tron and 5 giant HDTVs. Drinks will be served at 3 fully stashed bars. Food and VIP Bottle Service is also available.

Barbarossa Lounge – 714 Montgomery Street San Francisco, CA 94111

The lounge has massive 12 foot projectors and two 70 inch TV screens. Fans will enjoy handcrafted cocktails, food and beer on tap. A live DJ will be spinning before the game and after. The Barbarossa Lounge has gathered everything that you would want to have a great Super Bowl Party experience.

The New Parish – 1743 San Pablo Ave Oakland, CA 94612

$10 per person

Wear your team colors to one of the biggest viewing parties in the East Bay. The venue has plenty of room to sit and watch the game, but make sure you bring your own food.

Novela Bar – 662 Mission Street, San Francisco 94105

FREE – Fee after kickoff

Catch every moment on their 5 HD large format flat screens and two 7 foot HD digital projection displays. The bar will serve Super ‘Punch’ Bowls and their game-day inspired food menu. They will also have music by DJ “El Cool J”.

Bruno’s – 2389 Mission Street, San Francisco 94110

FREE for first 100 RSVPs, $10 after

Bruno’s will have some great drink specials and a DJs spinning before and after game. All bar seating is first come first serve, so make sure to get there early.

The GlassHouse – 2 South Market Street San Jose, CA 95113

$50 – Early bird ticket, Open BBQ and Bar – $150

Tony Bruno will be broadcasting live from The GlassHouse with the Marz vodka girls. The GlassHouse has the largest viewing screen in all of San Jose. Don’t miss out on the BBQ and bar special that includes two hours of all you can eat and drink.
