SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Super Bowl 50 Host Committee has announced its list of performers scheduled to take the stage the week of the title game.

Grammy Winning Artist Alicia Keys, One Republic, The Band Perry, Matt Nathanson and Chris Isaak will perform at the free-to-the-public fan village, “Super Bowl City presented by Verizon.”

City will be treated to free concerts by some of the world’s most notable artists and the Bay Area’s finest performers,” said Keith Bruce, CEO of the Super Bowl 50 Host Committee. “Whether it’s local groups like Loco Bloco or musicians like the Bay Area’s Chris Isaak, the culture and fabric of the region will be well-represented.”

In a break from tradition, Super Bowl City will be open for an extra weekend this year, according to event officials, allowing locals to experience Super Bowl 50 festivities before out-of-towners arrive.

Super Bowl City, the event’s official party central, will be the hub of fan activities for Super Bowl 50 from Saturday, January 30 through Sunday, February 7, 2016.GRAPHIC: Super Bowl City Map & More
