Give your mailperson a hug — it’s National Postal Worker Day!
July 1st marks the special day for mail carriers.
There are approximately 490,000 postal workers across the U.S.
They brave extreme temperatures and crazy weather to make delivers.
And while you may think they get Sundays off, they still make certain deliveries like Amazon packages and priority mail express.
So take a minute and leave a note in your mailbox, or better yet, say thanks in person, the next time you see your mailperson.
In a funny coincidence, today is also National U.S. Postage Stamp Day!
