(WTNH) – A new study finds that there are a lot of so-called “bots” on Twitter.
Bots are automated accounts not run by human beings that can post content and interact with others.
Researchers examined more than one million tweets during the summer of 2017.
They found that of all tweeted links to 2,300 popular websites, 66% were most-likely shared by automated bots.
