SAN RAMON (KRON) — Danville Police and Monte Vista High School administration have identified a student who is allegedly responsible for the graffiti on a TRAFFIX bus that serves Monte Vista High School, according to school officials.

There was also graffiti found in the boys’ bathroom, and the principal pledged to check hidden surveillance footage to find out who was responsible.

The urinals in the bathroom were segregated and marked “whites” and “coloreds.”

An emergency meeting was held at the school to address the act that considered as hate speech.

These are just some of many racist graffiti incidents to strike the San Ramon area this month.

In a statement released by the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, school officials say “The student will face appropriate disciplinary and criminal action. The investigations into the graffiti incident on the bus and in the Monte Vista and California high school restrooms are ongoing.”
