Berkeley police are investigating a shooting that sent stray bullets flying into two homes early Sunday morning.
The incident happened near the Delaware and 10th Street intersection in northwest Berkeley.
Pam Wilson was sleeping on her living room floor when a number of shots penetrated her kitchen wall.
“I heard the gunshots and then I turned over in time to see flashes of light outside that window,” she said.
Bullets also hit her cabinets, leaving broken bottles and at least one exited through the living room wall.
Neighbors told KRON4’s Ali Reid that there was an altercation on the street before gunfire erupted.
The victim who managed to escape with only a shot to the toe ran, between two buildings.
Seconds later, at least three stray bullets pierced one another neighbor’s home.
The investigation is ongoing and officers haven’t released any suspect descriptions.
