OAKLAND (KRON) — On Wednesday night, Golden State Warriors’ guard Stephen Curry was presented with the MVP trophy from NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

But there was one problem.

During the pregame presentation of his trophy, Curry appeared to extend his hand to Silver for a handshake. But the Warriors star was left hanging–accidentally.

But it appears Silver did a make-good. On Thursday, the NBA tweeted, “My bad leaving you hanging, @StephenCurry30. Congrats again on becoming the first unanimous #KiaMVP! -Adam.”

The tweet showed a picture of Curry and Silver shaking hands, with the MVP trophy in the background.

Curry has won the MVP award for the second-straight year. This year, it was a unanimous vote.
