SAN MATEO COUNTY (BCN) — California Highway Patrol officials said all lanes of state Highway 35 in unincorporated San Mateo County are open Monday morning after a

crash that downed power lines closed the road for about two hours.

At 2:08 a.m., the CHP opened all lanes and canceled a traffic alert for the area near 11220 Highway 35, where the crash occurred.

The crash, in which a vehicle hit a power pole, was first reported at 11:36 p.m. Sunday, CHP Officer William Ogilvie said. Highway 35 is also known as Skyline Boulevard.

Wires were down in the roadway and wires were reported to be on top of the vehicle involved in the crash, Ogilvie said.

No one was in the vehicle when officers arrived, he said.
