SANTA ROSA (KRON) — Police are looking for suspects in connection with a stabbing that occurred Friday evening in downtown Santa Rosa that left one person with a stab wound.
Just before 8 p.m., officers received multiple calls reporting a possible stabbing near the bus transit mall at 500 Second St., according to police.
When officers arrived, they found the man lying down on the sidewalk in front of the Roxy Stadium 14 movie theater, at 85 Santa Rosa Avenue., police said.
The man told police he had been stabbed and that the suspects had fled on foot. Multiple officers checked the surrounding area for the suspects, but could not locate them, according to police.
Medical crews transported the victim to a hospital where he was treated for a stab wound. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, police said.
