SONOMA COUNTY (KRON)—The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office detained three people Saturday afternoon who are connected to a marijuana robbery in Forestville, according to deputies.

Deputies were called to an dispute on Highway 116 around 3 p.m.

The caller said he saw several people involved in an argument. One of them spotted hitting a car with a crow bar.

The caller gave the sheriff’s office a description of a car leaving the area.

A CHP officer saw a car matching the caller’s description in Sebastopol and pulled the car over.

Three people inside that car were detained and marijuana was also found in the car, deputies said.

A follow-up investigation found the suspects stole marijuana from a man and assaulted him.

The man was treated for minor cuts and bruises on the scene.

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing the names of the three people detained because the investigation is ongoing.
