SONOMA COUNTY (KRON) — The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 56-year-old civil attorney who went missing from Santa Rosa on Saturday, deputies said.
Deputies said the wife of Steven Mitchell reported him missing at around 8 p.m. She told authorities she had not heard from her husband all day.
He was last seen at his home at around 9 a.m. Saturday morning in Santa Rosa. Mitchell’s phone was last used in the Bodega Bay area, his wife said.
Rangers searched for his car in the area and found it unoccupied on Carlevaro Way.
Authorities do not believe foul play was involved in Mitchell’s disappearance.
