SANTA CLARA (KRON) — A son is suspected of killing his mother in a murder-suicide that occurred on Friday in Santa Clara.
Officers responded to a call around 8:55 a.m. in the 1000 block of Las Palmas Dr.
When they arrived on the scene, they saw an older adult female and male both dead. The bodies were located in the same room and were both suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police believe that the 68-year-old son fatally shot his 89-year-old mother.
The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Officer will release names of the two once their family has been identified.
