SHASTA COUNTY (KRON) — Police are still searching for a Redding woman who went missing early this month while jogging, according to the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.

34-year-old Sherri Papini was last seen jogging on Nov. 2 on Sunrise Drive in Redding. She never returned from her jog that day.

Her family says there is no reason for her to not return to her home and two sons.

“I believe she was abducted. That someone knew her. That someone took her,” Papini’s mother Lorette Graeff said. “She wouldn’t leave her babies. She wouldn’t leave her family like this. Somebody has taken her and we want her back. And we don’t care what the cost is.”

A $50,000 reward being offered for any information leading to her whereabouts.

The wife and mother of two boys texted her husband earlier that day. He later came home from work and realized that she had never returned. He reported her missing at 5:51 p.m.

He then learned that their two children had not been picked up from daycare, as she usually does. He checked his Find My iPhone app and located her phone near the intersection of Old Oregon Trail and Sunrise Drive. She was nowhere to be found.

The children were later picked up from daycare by family and are safe.

Her husband has been ruled out as a suspect.

This is considered as a Missing Persons, At Risk and under Suspicious Circumstances. Papini does not have any known medical or mental health issues.

She has blue eyes, blonde hair, weighs 100 pounds, stands 5’3″ and was last seen wearing a pink jogging suit.

If anyone has seen her or may know who she is, they are asked to call the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 245-6540.
