SOLANO COUNTY (KRON) — A suspect wanted in a brutal bar fight in Fairfield is in custody Monday night, turning himself in after his photo was posted on Facebook.

Solano County sheriff’s detectives said the man called them and said, “that’s me.”

The fight happened around 1:20 a.m. March 5 at Thompson’s Corner Saloon at 2147 Cordelia Road in unincorporated Solano County just outside Fairfield city limits.

The 39-year-old victim suffered a head injury and was unconscious but breathing when deputies arrived, Deputy Christine Castillo said. He remains unconscious at an area hospital and his identity is being withheld while the investigation continues, Castillo said.

He has not been identified by authorities yet. He is a suspect in the beating of another Fairfield man unconscious at a local bar on March 5.

That victim remains unconscious at a local hospital.

The suspect has not been arrested and his name is not being released, Castillo said.Bay City News contributed to this report
