SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A widely used social media app is adding a new feature exclusively to users in San Francisco.
The social media app Snapchat are adding new exclusive filters as part of celebrating National LGBT History month.
The app is taking initiative and asking users in San Francisco, especially in the Castro District to take part in celebrating the month with photos of their most prideful moments using the filters.
A spokesperson with Snapchat said, the new and exclusive filters will be available to all users on October 11th and 12th.
The month of October has some prominent days honoring the LGBT community. October 11th is National Coming Out Day, and October 20th is Spirit Day.
