(KRON) Smoke from the Loma Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains is hanging over the South Bay and the Santa Clara.
KRON4’s Chief Meteorologist Brittney Shipp says “air quality throughout the South Bay is only on the moderate level.”KRON4’S 4ZONE WEATHER REPORT
Shipp says “if you have asthma or other health problems you may want to stay inside until the smoke clears.”
There was a smoke advisory in the South Bay earlier in the week from the fire but the air quality has been improving since Monday when the fire broke out near Mount Loma.
