SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (KRON) — Kevin “Coop” Cooper gave a rundown tonight on KRON4 of what expect this weekend as far as weather in the Sierra.
Cooper says we’ll see a warming trend over the next few days, but to expect another 8-16 inches of snow on Sunday. Cooper advises Bay Area residents to avoid travel on Sunday — because of chain controls. He suggests traveling before or after Sunday because of the conditions.
As for the top places to ski this weekend? He suggests smaller resorts off the beaten path, like Diamond Peak or Homewood.
