SJC Suffers Another Security Breach

SAN JOSE (KRON) — Minteta San Jose International Airport has suffered its fifth security breach in less than a year.

Tuesday evening, a woman was arrested after allegedly trespassing on the airport’s airfield.

Officers responded to a report of an unknown female walking east across the airfield of the airport around 5:15 p.m., San Jose police Officer Albert Morales said.

Arriving officers were able to find the woman by the southeast corner of the airport, near Gate 118, but the woman resisted them.

She was eventually subdued and taken into custody.

The woman refused to identify herself to officers and had no identification on her.

She was later identified as 20-year-old Deanna Predoehl.

She was arrested and booked in the Santa Clara County Jail; charged with trespassing and resisting arrest.

While the incident is still under investigation, officals think she may have jumped over a fence at the southwest corner of the airport near Gate 168 and walked east on the airfield until police found her.
