The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig-alert Sunday morning on southbound U.S. Highway 101 near the northbound Interstate Highway 280 connector in San Jose.
At least one person has been confirmed dead after an early morning incident, according to a CHP officer.
The CHP said an incident occurred at 4:38 a.m. involving a vehicle blocking a lane.
According to the CHP officer they had no further information about what kind of incident occurred, however several agencies were on scene investigating.
